The Bonhi and LH bands will issue a 12 inch stereo LP late this month priced at 325 dollars. It contains recordings from contests this and last year and orders can be placed by members or by calling 583 4822. Proceeds support the youth fund as students promote door to door bulb sales Monday at 6 pm.
A two hour benefit rock concert is planned in Arlington to raise funds for Tom Axara an Arlington High graduate and University of Texas at Arlington student who is ill. Proceeds will cover Asuras medical expenses and the event will run from 7 pm Saturday to 1 am Sunday at the Arlington High gym with local and national bands volunteering to perform.

General Telephone installs Bonham’s 5000th phone at Gary Hall residence 195 Wes Michael Circle with the mayor and plant foreman present. White notes Bonham grew from 3099 in 1960 to 4049 in 1965 and forecasts 7500 by 1980 as G T delivers service to 435 Texas New Mexico Oklahoma Arkansas and Louisiana communities.

Firemen rushed to 39 Meadow Lane Road Friday morning after a smell of smoke. Crews found no visible fire and left the scene.
Six teenagers three boys and three girls were arrested by city police Thursday night on minor in possession charges. Two girls paid $90 fines after pleading guilty to disturbance, with all six fined on minor in possession. They were parked on a small road at the city edge. boys held in the city jail overnight and girls in the county jail.
Bailey resident C C Peaks suffered a theft by a man posing as a gas company worker who tested pressure at Peaks home and asked him to watch gauges. After a few minutes the impostor fled with papers and valuables, according to Deputy Sheriff H R Van Zandt.

A violent clash between students and demonstrators at Jackson State College left two students dead and several injured. National Guard troops moved in after rocks and unrest erupted on campus late Wednesday night to restore order.
Severe storms from the South Plains to Texas Hill Country and Gulf Coast trigger tornado warnings near Houston and San Antonio.
