Mrs Spoon died suddenly at her home in Leonard Tennessee on a Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Leonard Baptist church conducted by Reverends Reece and Myers with burial in Leonard Cemetery under Wilson’s direction. She was born April 13 1868 in Tennessee to Mr and Mrs John McCann and married J M Spoon in 1887. Survivors include her husband three daughters Mrs Walter Morgan of Oklahoma Mrs Oscar Anderson of Trenton and Mrs Homer Stevens of Leonard five sons Raymond John Spoon of Leonard Charie Spoon of Oklahoma and Dan and Louis Spoon of Sherman.
Mrs L A Morris and Mrs Kate Wigley hosted in Dallas with Mrs E A Pul yampert also present. Mr George Schnabel and Mr Ruth Dowlen spent Thursday in Flano. Mrs J E Luttrell of Boole visited, with Mr and Mrs Slack ill at home. Miss Ruth Dowlen and Miss Lula Mravid attended the Federation Club meeting in Trenton. Miss Evelyn Brown of Dallas visited relatives over the weekend. Mrs Max Wheeler left Saturday for Blossom for an extended stay.
