They sought Brasel Doyle Carmichael an AWOL airman described as a friend of the Winterbauer son. Carmichael faces murder charges from Dallas and was last suspected as the Dickinson suspect after two waitresses identified his photo as the man seen with Mrs McPherson and her family.

U S Attorney Love A Rover blocked a motion to dismiss five remaining counts, citing lack of chance for conviction after appeals court rulings. Judge Luther W Youngdahl spoke quietly and granted the motion.
