Thought For Today From History Of Dallas Church
The fiftieth anniversary of Central Christian church in Dallas was celebrated last Sunday. The first congregation formed after the Civil War by Bonham native Charles Carlton, who later established a school in Bonham that became Carlton College. That school helped found Texas Christian University through educators Addison and Randolph Clark. One charter member, Mrs Dave Clark, still living, was born in Bonham.
