Bonham Cotton Mill defeated Linxwiler of Sherman 6 to 8 Friday night to clinch the annual Bonham softball tournament championship behind Red Christian pitching. Jesse Jay hit two long home runs for the Millers who jumped to an early lead while Christian held Linxwiler hits in check. Southwest Pump of Bonham and Giadiota of Sherman await consolation finals.

Mrs. Sue Holt McDaniel formerly of Bonham died in Waco Saturday at 6:30 am. She moved from Bonham many years ago. Services are at Wise Funeral Home Chapel at 10 am Monday with burial in Willow Wild. Local relatives include Mrs. Hattie Goode Mrs. John Miller Mrs. Lottie McMillan and C. E. Thompson. Relatives request no flowers.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Chapel for C. A. Harris 80, a retired Hunt County farmer. The Rev. W. A. Cunningham of Wolfe City officiated with interment in Mt.
