Death by foul tip ends promising youth in Bonham ball game
Claude Brewer about 19 died instantly after a fast foul tip struck his heart while catching in a game on the lop en lot near the cotton mill. Chas Sturgeon and Alva Gills witnessed the accident. Funeral services were held at the family home in South Bonham with burial at Willow Wild cemetery.
