Tulsa Oilers swept Oklahoma City Indians 9 to 2 and 6 to 1 to gain a full game on Fort Worth and Houston. Fort Worth and Dallas split with Dallas 3 to 2 in the opener, Homer Matney delivering a late bases clearing double. Shreveport and San Antonio also split, with Mission winning 5 to 0 in seven innings. Crowd totals for the four doubleheaders topped 26 thousand, Dallas drawing 8,500.
