Henry Joe Fletcher the tax collector says start of 1969 motor vehicle registration requires last year’s registration papers and the car title whether original or duplicate. State rules mandate these documents before a 1969 license tag can be issued and also plan to computerize 1969 records. Beginning 1970, a state issued information card will speed future registrations. 1969 plates go on sale Monday at the tax office.
