Killed Man Had 2000 dollars In Pockets
Houston clothier Willis Edward Pond III, 24, and Arnaldo Ortega, 20, were found shot dead in the trunk of an abandoned car near FM 1150 in northeast Guadalupe County. Pond carried about 2000 dollars in cash. authorities noted blood on the bumper and said the killings occurred late Monday night or early Tuesday. Pond’s father said his son had flown back to Houston, and he did not know Ortega.
