The Bonham Savings and Loan Association ended 1975 with assets of 15,896,116 a 14.05 percent gain from 1974. Car Truck Collision Leaves One Injured on East Sam Rayburn Drive
One person sustained injuries in a morning crash at the intersection of East Sam Rayburn Drive and Chestnut Street. The driver of the car, a Mrs Myrtle Stevens Adams, was taken to a physician after complaints of arm and shoulder pain. A tractor trailer driver identified as RL Edwards of Shreveport was involved. The tractor trailer was owned by Pattick Industries Inc of Shreveport. Police noted Mrs Adams was northbound on Chestnut while the tractor trailer moved west on Sam Rayburn.

The National Weather Service predicts partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures for the Bonham area through Friday. Lows near the upper 30s and highs in the upper 60s are expected, with morning readings around the upper 30s to 40s and a Wednesday peak near 61. Tax receipts to Bonham Ladona from 1 percent sales tax
State Comptroller Bob Bullock announced allocations for the period ending Jan 3. Bonham received 6212.15 and Ladona 510.16 as part of a $11.4 million statewide distribution to 493 towns. Several Fannin county towns were under the $500 threshold for mailed checks.
