Trustees Set Bond Sale for Bonham School Project

County Officials Attend Texas Conference in February

Fannin county will be without a county judge and four commissioners briefly in early February for the 11th annual conference for Judges and Commissioners at College Station February 5 through 7. About 150 to 200 county officials are expected, with talks by Judge J. C. Davis Jr and Dr. Ken Ross Wright.

Dog Escapes After Truck Crashes on State 121

An early Tuesday one vehicle crash on State 121 near FM 1281 occurred as a driver tried to dodge a large dog. Patrolman Dwaine Cox identified Robert Elliott Hogg of Orange as the truck driver. the vehicle jumped the median and knocked down a reflector and information sign. Damage was estimated at 400 dollars. the dog escaped unharmed.
