Pat Clutter of Hale southeast of Bonham has bought three acres north of the Katy track and will erect a large cotton gin with 4 percent interest. The project, costing fifteen to twenty thousand dollars, includes switch tracks and yard facilities to handle heavy traffic, and Clutter will supervise the Bonham gin while keeping his Hale operation. This development is expected to spur local capital and growth as the gin will collect cotton via good roads then market it through Bonham.
