Fort Worth cattle and hog buyers dominated bid activity with fed steers and heifers selling around eight to ten dollars per hundredweight. Bulls and canners moved from five to six dollars. hogs topped at six eighty five while sows sold down to five seventy five. Spring lambs and wethers showed modest gains with fat lambs around nine dollars and yearlings around six to six fifty.
Real estate notice touts a five room dwelling with three porches and convenient ell, claiming the well located property is a very cheap, good buy. It urges interested buyers to call about the listed values as strong bargains.
Saturday night marks the final deadline to obtain 1939 automobile licenses in Fannin County.
