Pleads Guilty Goad Is Given Two Life Terms
Jack Goad pleaded guilty to two murder indictments in Sixth District court and received two life sentences. He waived jury trial before Judge Henry Braswell after evidence was stipulated. Goad, arrested November 8, killed Lorene Goad and Jim McDonald at 213 West Eighth Street. Bodies found bludgeoned. Goad confessed to officers upon visit. He is jailed without bond and waived appeal.
