A cheerful note from Will H. Evans describes a lost small package containing no gloves, with a black single pair and a brown silk lined pair by Amy. The note asks for delivery to Fannin County Bank and a reward, thanking patrons and wishing a prosperous new year.

Miss Audrey Morrow and William A Welch of DeKalb wed in a Sunday morning ceremony at 8 30 in Mrs Cole Morrow's West Sixth street home. Rev Whiteside officiated. The couple left by 8 50 for Dekalb to reside. Welch runs a general merchandise business and is a respected Dekalb citizen. The bride is longtime Bonham resident known for charitable works.
Low temperatures blanketed Kansas and Missouri with Sedalia at three degrees above zero and Kansas City near four below. Overnight readings rose to six or seven above in places, while Sata Kan logged five below and Marted three below. Snowfall and disrupted train service accompanied the chill as stock losses and weather-related hazards affected stockmen and livestock operations.
Judge Rasser Thoneaus’ docket reports several guilty findings. J. Lindley was convicted under local option law and fined $26 with twenty days in jail. Frank Belcher found not guilty on one count, guilty on another. O W Green convicted for theft of a bundle of cats, fined one dollar and an hour in jail. Lamie Price pled guilty to simple assault and fined $4.00. State of Taxes case against Ernest Slerioner for false imprisonment resolved at the hour in goings too.
A fragmented 1911 era letter from New Boston Texas resident Mr. Evans discusses renewal of subscriptions, relocation to Fannin County, and past work in Bowle and other counties. It mentions weather, lack of snow, a home sale on West Mitghith Street, and a notice of a switch offer by Mrs. John Owens.
Favorite Printing Company announces arrival of 1912 samples including fancy stationery ball and party programs and various cards. They invite customers to view the selections and obtain price quotes.
Wanted at once modern cottages for sale and buyers available. Also seeking a place to do house work. Church Women’s Auxiliary meeting announced at 3 PM Tuesday January 2 at the rectory. Nicely furnished front room for rent near North Center Street with phone contact.
Multiple brick houses for sale on the north side of North Main and on West Fourth. Prices listed include 3000 for North Main, 4080 for West Fourth, and 4000 for West Fourth. All properties appear rented or occupied.
Work resumed on the street railway along Main Street from the public square to Private and Pacific station. Heavy rains and bad weather delayed the line but completing excavation and bed tamping is nearing finish as favorable weather returns. Once car line completes, curb and gutter work is finished and the street paving will begin.
Mrs G Aunn entertained Saturday afternoon at her West Seventh Place home with a Morton Two party in compliment to Mrs George Wilcox of McKinney. A light luncheon of salmon croquettes and crackers was served. Guests included Mrs George Wilcox, Mrs H L Cunningham, Mrs A B Scarborough, J W Lewis, Chas Habsell Jr, P P Harris, Ben Husell, W J Mayor, W B R Grewford, A M Whitworth, Andy Evans, M C Spivy, John Rodger and others. A gift was presented to Mrs Wilcox, and a humorous line about clothing services appeared during the program.
