Jack Hance and Thomas Massey returned from Mineral Wells where they worked Sunday. Seoter’s regular appointment at the Methodist church.
Bonham and Fanninent were extended a formal invitation to the 45th annual Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show at Fort Worth in Fort Worth Marsh. A group of Fort Worth professionals met them for about half an hour on Wednesday afternoon, traveling from Paris and joined here by Mayor Joe Baralicka to aid in the program at Denison and Sherman.
Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock this morning from Wise Funeral Chapel for Dr F C Allen who died after a three week illness at Allen Memorial Hospital. Burial was in Willow Wild Cemetery. Dr Allen had practiced in Benham for thirty five years. He is survived by his wife two brothers and a long list of pallbearers. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. Mrs Brown was a charter member of the church and a former Sunday School teacher. Born in Tennessee December 27 1857 she moved to Texas with her parents to Fannin county when six, later to Denison. her husband Daniel J Brown died February 14, 1931.
