Couple Sought in Houston Slaying
A four state manhunt targets a 23 year old man and an 18 year old woman suspected in the gun and torch killing of Houston real estate operator Fred A. Tones 43 whose body was found in a muddy east end ditch after being shot six times and doused with gasoline. The pair reportedly fled in Tones white 1960 Lincoln. Authorities said they may be armed and dangerous and expanded the search to Louisiana Oklahoma and Arkansas. A drugstore clerk named Clinton A.
