Clark Memorial Methodist church will add six Sunday school rooms, repaint, and remodel the building. Estimated cost about $1400 with portions already raised. the congregation hopes to raise the balance soon, as the pastor remains optimistic the project will start quickly.
W A Sudderth of Leonard visited Bonham today. Mrs W B Cragg of Ector Pike visited son J R Reese. Mrs Lou Campbell has been ill at home on South Fifth street. Mr and Mrs C E Bell and children of Dallas and Mrs Flossie Bell and family visiting J R Reese on East 12th street. L McLenan of Oklahoma City has been in Dodd City visiting his mother and relatives. McLenan, raised in Fannin County, once lived in Ardmore and works in oil in Oklahoma City. He faces a big job in the claim department but is confident.
Representatives of two scores of national and civic organizations pledged President Hoover to join a campaign to curb money hoarding as an aid to business. Hoover spoke in the cabinet room with Secretary Ogden Mills and Charles Dawes, head of the Reconstruction Corporation. He estimated about 1.35 billion dollars hoarded and a 30 trillion dollar drop in credit, noting that hoarding and low spirits pushed security prices down and currency backing by the Fed rose from 40 to about 75 percent.

Charles A Lindbergh, born Detroit February 4, 1902, rose from onsite boyhood to global aviation fame.
