Mrs T L Crissman received a letter from her son Archie a member of the U S Marine band serving at the James Town Exposition. The band has been ordered to sail with the Atlantic fleet around the horn from Norfolk to San Francisco. The fleet will sail December 15 for a twenty day voyage and Archie cannot guarantee a Christmas visit.
Central Church invites all to attend services Sunday with preaching at 11 a m. An interesting subject will be discussed. Also promoting a coat sale featuring dishes chinaware and chamber sets with a noted selection from Phompson Abernathy.
A corset demonstration by Gasord Corset is announced for Monday. Mrs Doolittle will attend the event at White Blakeney & Fuller, inviting customers to call and learn about the corsets.
