Three Dallas area residents the Robnetts Charlies R. Robnett 40 Marjorie Flatt Robnett 36 and their son Ricky 5 were killed in a single car crash on Interstate 20 eight miles west of Terrell Sunday night Patrolman Charles R Brock said Robnett lost control as they headed toward Dallas the car struck an overpass abutment and burned Passerby pulled out 12 year old Nita Kaye Robnett who was taken to Parkland Hospital Dallas Funeral services for the trio were to be handled by Wise Funeral Home of Bonham The Robnetts were longtime Bonham residents with family ties including Zeph Robnett and I C Flatt The daughter Anita Kaye Robnett survived and was with relatives in Dallas at the time of reporting.

A mild day gave way to a return of wintry weather as Bonham area temperatures fell from the high 50s to the low 30s Monday morning. The five day outlook shows 8 to 14 degrees below normal with a warming midweek followed by renewed cold.
