Bonham area faced freezing rain and snow with highways iced over. Motorists were urged to avoid travel unless necessary as sand grit crews worked on bridges and hills. A 27 degree overnight low rose to 26 Wednesday with 45 expected later. Lake Bonham rose a foot as creeks fed it.
