American airmen dropped many bombs on German railway yards at Domarga and Baroncourt near Metz, destroying tracks and rolling stock. Additional squadrons scored direct hits on tracks before Longuydon station. One hostile plane was shot down yesterday.
Paris reports progress toward Noyon with French advances on the Avre front in Villers-les-Roye and St. Aurin and occupation of 1915 first lines east of Armancourt. In Champagne, prisoners were taken in the Perthes-les-Hurlus sector.
Paris dispatch reports General Humbert controlling the plateau south of Lassigny and nearing Lassigny. British forces shell Chaulnes while enemy railways and transport are strained. Bray to Lassigny line remains unfavorable for the opposing side.
Last night burglars broke into Joe Anthony's Ravenna shop and stole jewelry worth between 500 and 750 dollars. Police have no leads, suggesting an organized ring moving stolen goods to distant markets. A high power car aided the quick getaway across Fannin County.
London reports from Haig that the British are closing in on Albert from the west and south while crossing the Ancre on a wide front to the north. Front reports note increased hostile artillery fire across the Flanders front and further progress south of Albert. Local operations claim advances on Picardy and Flanders fronts.

Many Bonham area soldiers from Company M Texas Cavalry were transferred and are likely overseas. The piece notes intermittent Vesle sector bombing and German defenses.
