Canned products from all sections of Fannin county entered in a county wide canning achievement event. 354 Home Demonstration Club ladies and 411 Club girls submitted 703 jars of fruit and vegetables. Prizes awarded for first to third place in vegetable and fruit divisions. 4-H girls also earned prizes with several named winners.
