A called meeting at city hall organized the Bonham Volunteer Fire Company No 2 for South Bonham. R A Deaton elected foreman with Tom McDowell as assistant foreman and Jim McDowell Roy Clark D H Harrell and John Smithy identified as officers. The group includes Tom McDowell Jim McDowell R A Deaton Roy Clark Bob Calhoun John Smithy Curt Williams James Hembree and D H Flatwell. An old hand reel and hose will be kept at city hall with a reel house donated by Virge Deering on his land for central access.

Frisco Westbound Train Derails in Arkansas Tragedy
A Frisco westbound passenger train derailed near Imboden Arkansas early today. Engineer Cooper and Fireman Booker, both of Memphis, along with an unknown man, were killed as the engine plunged twelve feet embankment. The mail car exploded burning contents while a crew of sailors fought the blaze. Clerks Chamberlain Horbooker Wolfe and Clayton suffered burns. several passengers feared dead.
