OES Initiation Planned by Bonham Chapter No 862

Bonham Chapter No. 862 Order of the Eastern Star will hold an initiation service Wednesday April 27 at 8 p.m. at the Masonic Hall. Visitors are welcome. Also noted are Sunday visits by Rev. R. E. Porter and guests Mr and Mrs D Davis and three children Miss Louise Jones of Greenville Mr and Mrs Ewell Burt and Mrs Chester White of Rockwall.

Mrs Johnnie Adcock hosted the Ivanhoe Friendship Club at her home on Thursday with eleven members present. They played several games and enjoyed refreshments. The club will meet May 4 with Mrs Berta Reed.

Annual Spring Power Show by Garden Club Members Friday

Garden Club members announce an annual spring power show to be held Friday featuring table arrangements from Living Reem Mantel to Shadow Box and Church displays. Literature Club Finalizes Plans For FCFWC Meeting

The Current Literature Club hosts the spring County Federation of Women's Clubs meeting with Miss Annie Lockhart at 921 Cedar Street. Vice president Mrs. C H Van Zandt chairs the session as Mrs. C G Long is absent. The group discussed The Greatest Story Ever Told Oyster and reported on the Colored Federation Club meeting in Benham and the Community Chest donation.
