A CPR course planned for next week at multiple county locations has been canceled. John Perry said the cancellation was due to late arrival of materials needed for the presentation.
Ford campaign aide says Ronald Reagan relies on simplistic sloganeering and lacks experience to run the presidency. Senator John Tower of Texas echoes concerns about Reagan’s grasp of national issues and readiness compared to Ford.
Windham former Bonham Hospital Authority director and president joins the Small Business Administration as Commercial Loan Specialist in New Orleans. He begins April 26 after a long career at First National Bank and civic service in Bonham and Cleburne.
Fannin county peanut producers will gather at the Community Center in Telephone for a 7:30 pm meeting to hear Texas Peanut Producers Association speaker Wayne Eaves discuss proposed new peanut legislation. Association president Calvin Felts urged all producers and landlords to attend and noted peanuts are a major local money crop.
