National 4-H Awards Revamped Under New Program
The National 4-H Committee announces changes to the dairy and production oriented 4-H program now named the National 4-H Achievements program. Awards include four silver medals per county and a gold watch for the state award, with sectional prizes and six college scholarships retained. Lederle Laboratories funds support, Cooper tive Extension Service directs the 1960 rollout, emphasizing sanitation, animal care, and dairy science in homes and communities. County Extension agents will provide full program information.
