Transfer Agent Bud Russell escorted eleven prisoners from the district court term to Huntsville penitentiary. Six were white and five were Black including a colored girl. all were chained except the girl. Bill Turner escaped from the local jail Monday, then recaptured in Ada Oklahoma. he will be taken to Huntsville with the others. Russell noted burglary is the most popular crime, with forgery a close second.
