Billy Livingston died at his home in the northeast part of town Monday morning at 9. He was born June 9 1920 in Honey Grove and attended local schools. Funeral Tuesday at the chapel conducted by Rev Mc Collum and Rev Watts. Survived by father G C Livingston sister Mrs Richard Allen brother Paul Livingston. Roy Henley and family of McAlester Oklahoma visiting relatives.
Mr Cecil and Paul Foster visited Mr J F P Whisen tunt Wednesday night. Fay Ward of Lakeview visits her brother. Prentis Ward and family and Fred Dewoody and family from Enidokla visited Elvin Leonard's family Sunday. Pearl Waters and children visit Fort Towson relatives. Walter White and family joined Alvin Turer’s family for Sunday. Egg hunt drew several visitors. a rooster spurred Lizzie Atkins causing a red swollen hand.
Miss Audra Bell wed Tommie Jackson in a Christmas ceremony. Audra, a member of this year’s graduating class, is popular among classmates. Tommie works in a Paris grocery and they will live there after graduation. News notes and weekend visits from relatives cross Commerce, Paris, Dallas, and Whitewright.
Edward Clark of Clovis New Mexico and Jasper Merrideth of Muskogee Oklahoma spent the weekend here visiting friends and relatives. Miss Jewell Johnson of Marshall Texas spent Easter with her mother Mrs Jo Bell Johnson. Mrs Fay Shephard is in Fort Worth for medical treatment. Charles Stokes returns to Texas Tech after holidays with his parents. Mr and Mrs Bob Green of Fort Worth visited over the weekend. Lucy Blachley of Dallas with her daughter visiting Mrs Grant Johnson who is ill. Houston Lancer family and Sam Houston Bill and Earl Wayne of Fort Worth spent Sunday with the Boyd family. J V Ford and daughter Mrs Russel Talley and children spent the weekend in McKinney. Jewel Morgan visited McKinney to see Montello Edwards.
