Five Injured In Separate Collisions In Texas
Five persons sustained minor injuries in two separate crashes on state and Federal highways in the county's southwest area on Thursday. At Leonard two collisions injured four people in a two car wreck on U S 69 and another at the intersection of U S 69 and State Highway 12 in Trenton earlier. In the Leonard crash Deputy Leonard Collingsworth and Rodney Swor were among those injured as Swor’s car rear ended the sheriff's car. Swor allegedly fell asleep at the wheel. An earlier Leonard accident on State 121 injured Tommy Hailey of Trenton after a collision with J C McPherson of Corpus Christi.
