Minister Parker Moloney said herd testing has surged in NSW and Victoria since the Commonwealth grant begun. About 70,000 cows in NSW and 92,000 in Victoria are now tested, nearly four times the initial pace, with culling of poor animals and emphasis on proven records and breeding.
