Ribbenlake cricket team challenged Bombala for the McGoldrick Cup last Sunday. Bombala collapsed to 63 all out after 193 for 8, J Bellchambers taking six wickets while Captain Taylor sent Bombala in to bat. Bombala’s lineup then fell to Bellchambers and Deverell, with Foy top scoring not out 8, as Bombala struggled before a Sunday match at Bibbenlake to determine the cup holder.

The Burmers and Graziers' Cooperative Company reports selling 9296 bales on 23 February with a record season price of 363d for six bales for W. Mitchell Woolbrook. Other lines ranged from 244d to 204d per bale. Notable sales include A SUP W branded St. Aubyns New England for Hon. A. K. Trethowan Walcha at 244d, and Mulligan Bros Guyra at 24d for seven bales. Additional lots ranged from 21d to 26d per bale, with Horster de Sons Arididdy securing 224d for seven bales.
W. H. Wheatley hosts annual ram ante at Goulburn on Tuesday selling Burnima rams bred by Frank Pennefuther. Notable buyers include J Mitchell purchasing five rams and two yearlings for two guineas each, W. Craig Tsralga buying multiple rams, H Groves Craigie acquiring one ram for seven guineas from A Armour Homewood, with prices reflecting strong demand.
