Large auction at Sydney sales with strong bidding. A. Aubrey Cummins of Craigie sold hoggets for 17d, ewes and lambs for 15d at Winchcombe. Fleece sales reported for Craigie and Delegate.

Mail service faltered, home delivery used, culverts damaged near Wycubbita, dangerous roads, calls for culvert repairs. Fox depredations noted as winter toll rises.

Resignation at Arts Committee and death of local resident
At the monthly School of Arts meeting Me G Commons resigned as President due to health. Mr Ashby elected President. Library Committee authorized to spend £10 on new books if funds allow. The death of Mr Hodwell, aged 60, occurred Friday evening after prolonged illness. He was elderly Odd Fellows member and Vice-President of the Race Club. Funeral held at Delegates Cemetery with church service by Rev G A Wilson and Oddfellows burial rite. Survived by widow and six grown sons.
