Will of John Fuchshuber Stirs Jefferson Township Court
Court saw many large cases set for trial this term but dismissed or compromised before trial. Fuchshuber versus Erb was to test his insanity claim. petition to construe the will filed instead. John T. Fuchshuber owned 180 acres in Jefferson township plus other property. The will left widow fifty acres then divided among eight children after her death. One child received eight hundred dollars and five others five hundred each. three children were cut due to prior gifts and limited contact with the father. The three sought to prove insanity to gain the widow’s fifty acres and their share. Insanity plea was dismissed and the court will construe the will. Mack & Sons and Capt.
