Heckley Family Reunion Held At Chas Isnogle Farm
The third annual Heckley family reunion occurred New New Year’s Day at Chas Isnogle’s home two and a half miles north of Tocsin. A large gathering shared a kingly dinner and enjoyed the day despite one son-in-law and two nephews missing due to sickness. The next reunion is planned at D J Miller’s in Tocsin. Bert Wasson and Mrs Lem Bachlor traveled to Pennsylvania last night after a message saying John Wasson was much worse aboard the C B & Q.

John Wasson born about 1946 on Wasson farm near town, married Elizabeth Greenfield about 32 years ago and raised seven children. A former machinery and milling businessman, he served three years in the Civil War, wounded in the foot, and belonged to G A R and several fraternal orders. He died at 8 10 this morning from aggravated pneumonia after a brief improvement. He leaves a wife, three sisters and seven children. Funeral set for Saturday at 1 o'clock with Rev Beeks presiding. remains to be moved to Lem Bachelor’s home town Friday.
