Ed Wilgus a longtime Bluffton resident known as Bryant and now in Michigan City penitentary is serving in the prison barber shop. He earlier faced trial and was acquitted on charges of obtaining money under false pretenses for subscribing to the Ladies Home Journal and a metropolitan paper. After re arrest he escaped with Sheriff Johnson’s razors but was recaptured and sent to Michigan City in a Bluffton area tale of crime and cleverness.
