Coal fields quiet as troops hold positions in W Va
The southern West Virginia coal fields have calmed with no troop movements since the tenth regiment departed to its headquarters days ago. The nineteenth regiment, which served at Mingo last November, remains with headquarters at Kanawha City under Colonel C C A Martin. The twenty sixth stays on duty in the Coal River field and the fortieth in Logan County.
