Matewan Trial Draws Defense to Stand of Kiser

In Williamson county circuit court Charles Kiser, among the Matewan indicted, testified for Fred Burggraff and Reece Chambers in the Ferguson killing case. Action on Impeachment of Mason County Court Delayed

In Point Pleasant West Virginia on September 15 the impeachment action against Mason county court was postponed until after the Holly Griffith murder trial concludes. Petitioners Hallanan Hogg and Cottrill allege malfeasance official misconduct drunkenness immorality and neglect of duty against commissioners Jividen Danby and Iner including squandered road bond funds and a walking stick assault. Williamson First Point Operations Informal Probe

Senator Kenyon announced Williamson as the first stop in an informal inquiry into conditions in southern West Virginia coal fields. Mother Charged in Father Balchunas Death

Aurora reporter states Mrs Frances Balchunas thirty four was arrested with boarder John Petroska twenty seven after her two daughters accused them of murder alleging she turned on the gas to kill their father Dominick Balchanas.
