A Wednesday night blaze in Upland McDowell County destroyed two dwellings as flames raged for hours. The Hatfields were residents of the first home when an oxygen tank exploded, spreading the fire to a nearby house. Two firefighters were injured, one from heat and another after a ladder fall.
