Colombian navy seizes 2.75 tons of cocaine at sea
The Colombian navy intercepted a speedboat about 60 miles off Buenaventura and recovered 2.75 tons of cocaine after the crew tried to sink the vessel. All five crew members were arrested and said they planned to hand the drugs to an ocean liner bound for Central America or the United States. The navy noted 57 tons seized so far this year.

Grand jury reconvenes Tuesday in McDowell County
