Princeton shooting suspect rejects plea heads to trial
Kaleb Starkey, 20, of Princeton, rejected a plea offer on charges including attempted first degree murder stemming from a January 5, 2020 shooting. Mercer County moves Halloween to October 30
Mercer County Commission reversed an Oct 31 plan and will observe Halloween on Saturday October 30 from 6 to 8 PM. Municipalities Bluefield and Princeton had already planned trick or treat on Oct 30, prompting the decision after public input and a special meeting.
