Civic groups back candlelight vigil for domestic violence awareness
Mercer County Commissioners approve a resolution for National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Candlelight Vigil at the Mercer County Courthouse begins at 7 p.m. with a reception, then a vigil at 7 30 p.m. in Judge David Knight’s courtroom. Local groups urge the public to attend to remember victims and support those suffering and to rally the community to end family abuse.
