Remaining Mercer County jail escapee Sowers captured peacefully
Princeton officer and deputies arrested David Wayne Sowers, the last of three inmates who escaped Wednesday night, after a tip led them to a Bluewell house. He surrendered without resistance on the Bluefield Princeton Road near Ceres at 1:45 a.m. The other two fugitives were caught Friday and jailed with injuries. Sowers faced extradition for rape and kidnapping charges.
