Final Inspection Planned for Princeton Sewage Plant
U S Corps of Engineers will conduct a final inspection of Princeton’s multi million dollar sewage treatment plant on December 4 for EPA approval. A lift station on First Street will also be inspected. Construction cost totals about 5.7 million dollars with completion delayed from 1977. The plant now operates at about half capacity, serving 36 000 people with 15 000 customers connected.

Mercer County Court Hears Deciding Actions In Stolen Property Case
Judge William O. Bivens Jr continued the receiving of stolen property case against Frank Carroll in Mercer County Circuit Court. A writ of habeas corpus hearing for Robert White was set for Dec 7 at 10 30 a m. On Tuesday arson in the first degree against Lee Glass was dismissed. Viola Kathleen Sarver pleaded guilty to armed robbery and awaits a pre sentence report and disposition on Dec 3 with bond intact. Ben Patterson, who pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, was sentenced under the Youthful Offenders Act to six months to two years in a state institution with credit for time served.

Bluefield Club relinquishes upkeep of planters along Bluefield Avenue
The Bluefield Woman's Club relinquishes responsibility for maintenance of about 40 concrete planters on Bluefield Avenue citing long-simmering complaints and misuse.
