Mother's Day shooting trial opens in Princeton case
Opening statements and testimony marked the trial of Thomas Michael Shine Jr. charged with second degree murder and wanton endangerment after 18 year old Bailey Dickerson was shot May 13 outside Shine's Old Pisgah Road home. The SUV drove away, crashed into a garage, a female juvenile inside uninjured. Evidence described an earlier altercation between Dickerson and another male, with weapon search yielding no firearm.
