Evacuation succeeds as Barboursville dorm fire affects hospital
A fire on the top floor of Rosa Harvey Hall at Barboursville State Hospital forced 180 female patients to be evacuated within minutes. Most patients were moved safely with no injuries. 136 displaced, with 50 sent to Huntington State and Lakin State Hospitals and 34 to Spencer. Fire aid from Huntington assisted local crews.
