Sign-ups for Little Jimmie Start Friday
Bluefield residents are invited to sign up children for this year’s Little Jimmie party at the Bluefield City Auditorium. Sign-ups occur Friday November 22 from 3 to 6 pm and Saturday November 23 from 10 am to 2 pm, with required documents such as WIC or CHIP cards or birth certificates. The Community Christmas Tree event is set for Saturday December 21 from noon to 1 30 pm at the auditorium, sponsored by The Daily Telegraph since 1917, providing toys books gloves and more to local kids in need.

Three residents of Princeton Andrew Hodges 29 Kerri Hodges 28 and Jerry Johnson 41 were arrested after breaking into a Rock area home around 8 am Wednesday. They face multiple charges including fleeing from police conspiracy attempted burglary and petit larceny. A homeowner fired a shot prompting the suspects to flee and be apprehended on Lorton Lick Road by Mercer County Deputies.
