Officials rate Tazewell blaze as one of county's biggest
The Tazewell livestock market fire on Monday night was one of the county's largest and hottest, say local officials. Fire chief Mac Buchanan noted the origin cannot be determined due to the destruction. Forty firefighters saved about 25 cattle, but 14 head worth about $4,000 perished, as winds fed the blaze for an hour.
