Princeton and Yale tied after sixty scoreless minutes. Yale showed late surge but couldn't finish as Princeton relied on kicking and Dilion's thirty yard run. Veeder excelled in punting for Yale, missing two drop kicks while Yale failed to convert a field goal attempt.
The game ended with a late spurt too late to change the outcome as Princeton, held in the first half, faltered late and lost a tight contest. Both teams defended fiercely through the opening period.

Washington reports Lieutenant Peary the arctic explorer is a possible successor to Rear Admiral Endicott as chief of the bureau of yards and docks. Endicott retires November 26. If Peary seeks another leave, Commander Holliday or Shenton may be chosen. Peary has spent fourteen of his twenty-five years in the navy on leave.
Negro residents in Oklahoma cities sent protests to President Roosevelt and Secretary Taft against dismissals of Black troops from Fort Reno. They ask no clemency for those implicated in the Brownsville riots but seek justice for the innocent with long army records.

Bedford City Virginia reports infant John Turner aged three years burned to death yesterday as his parents Mr and Mrs J W Turner of Bedford near Blue Ridge Church witnessed the tragedy.
A mother and father, away milking, heard their child scream and found the youngster on the porch. The dress caught fire from a log fire in the fireplace, burning the child severely. she died at 2 PM yesterday.
Chicago reports that the Pennsylvania Railroad will raise wages for 165,000 staff starting December 1. Other trusts like Standard Oil with 60,000 and Amalgamated Copper with 15,000 workers are implementing or planning increases to avert strikes.
