The body of Robert Easley 46 died from mine injuries in Williamson hospital was brought to Bluefield last night and taken to his father John H Besley’s home on Augusta street. Funeral services will be held in Athena at Vermilion cemetery at 3 PM after a 1 PM departure from Bluefield. Easley an electrician for Cinderella Coal Co died of a slate fall in a mine yesterday. He was born May 18 1880 in Pearisburg Va and grew up in Athens before moving to coal fields. He is survived by his widow formerly Miss Nanule Bird, three children Varnita Fay Julia and Thelma, his father and several siblings.
Mrs Mary Plaster widow of Mra H B Sadler of Bluefield was buried Sunday near Princeton after a paralysis linked illness. Survived by two sisters and several Bailey brothers from Princeton Hinton Beckley and Ohio, with one Bluefield sister. Also notes a recipe line about roasted meat and baked bananas with lemon glaze.
